Anthony C. Pierce
Anthony C. Pierce is an Industrial Artist and Filmmaker born in Rochester, NY.
Anthony attended college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Graduating with a degree in Industrial Design, specializing in Movie Special Effects and Toy Design. After graduation, "Tony" moved to Orlando and worked for several major theme parks as a sculptor and scenic artist. Tony was one of the original sculptors for several of the animatronic animals featured at The Rainforest Café. The most prominent was the "Alligator in the wishing well" located at every restaurant entrance. Tony was a lead artist during the construction of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter ride at Universal Orlando. Creating several sculptures for the ride including a 10 ft snake head for "Slitherin's Lair". Due to the temporary nature of the business of being a scenic artist, Tony began to supplement his income thru sign fabrication for local businesses in the Orlando area. This would eventually allow him to open his own Sign and Scenic shop in Winter Park, Fl. Tony has since relocated his studio to Auburn, NY. but still creates fiberglass sculptures for theme park and mini golf courses up and down the east coast. Tony in recent years has begun dabbling in film production and has Directed his first feature film "Till Death Do Us Part" and has a second film titled "Pond Scum" currently in production. Tony has film credits for gore effects and creature design on several other feature films as well.
